About the LDW Group
The LDW Group’s mission is to provide high quality career and workforce development services for professionals, agencies and organizations charged with
preparing individuals for 21st century jobs.

The associates of the
LDW Group focus on providing high quality training for those working with individuals who are dislocated workers, career changers, youth
aging out of foster care, re-entry youth and adults, displaced homemakers and those without work experience seeking skills to enter or re-enter the workforce.  The
LDW Group also designs and manages workforce training programs as well as delivers life skills and job readiness workshops and writes grants and RFPs
(Request for Proposals) for organizations that need them.

LDW Group has provided services for the local Chamber of Commerce in Cleveland, Ohio, the Cuyahoga County Department of Children and Family Services
and other local community service agencies in Cleveland, Ohio.

Linda D. Woodard is the president of the LDW Group.  Ms. Woodard has over 19 years experience in higher education with many of
those years in workforce development.  Ms. Woodard holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of
Akron and an earned Master of Science in Business Management from Indiana Wesleyan University.  Her professional experience
also includes: sales/lubrication engineer for a major oil company and assistant editor for a national technical publication and program
manager for many higher education training programs.  Ms. Woodard is on the national registry of the National Career Development  
Association (
www.ncda.org) as a certified career development facilitator instructor (for both the in-class instruction and eLearning
course); a Global Career Development Facil
itator; a Certified Workshop Development Professional (CWDP) through the National Association of Workshop Professionals; a certified facilitator of AchieveGlobal and Working It Out, a Certified Program Planner (CPP) through The Learning Resources Network and has completed numerous leadership training workshops.  Ms. Woodard also serves on workforce committees throughout Cuyahoga County to include the Cuyahoga County WIA Youth Council Education and Outreach Committee, Northeast Ohio Transitional Task Force, African  American Workforce Development Professionals group and the National Transitional Jobs Network Technical Assistance Committee.
